Why I built this
When we decided to move to Spain, I figured this time would be easier. I'd done this before. Four times, actually. How hard could it be?
Then I sat down to fill out my wife's visa application. She's American — so different forms, different requirements, different rules than mine. I found myself on a Spanish government website, running it through Google Translate, cross-referencing a 2023 blog post with a Reddit thread from someone who “thinks” their consulate asked for something different, trying to piece together which version of which form applied to which consulate.
And it hit me — I'd been here before. Not just once. Every single move, the same thing: playing detective, building a mental map from scattered clues, triple-checking every document because one wrong form means rejection.
